Biography

JD Bautista serves as Assistant Pastor at New City Wien and instructor with Trinitas Akademie, where he teaches Hermeneutics, Homiletics, and Biblical Counseling. He is involved in preaching, pastoral care, discipleship, and leadership development within New City Wien, an Austrian and international congregation of the Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirche Westminster Bekenntnisses.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, JD previously served in pastoral ministry in California before relocating to Vienna in 2018. His ministry is shaped by a commitment to gospel-centered teaching, careful handling of Scripture, and equipping believers for faithful life and service in the church.

JD is joyfully married to Thea, and they have one daughter. Outside of ministry, he enjoys golf and reading, and is especially fond of coffee, cookies, and, above all, making Christ known.
